About the Role

With strong growth across our sales and delivery teams, we are looking for a dedicated Business Admin Trainee to take ownership of our proposals and give our team more time to focus on selling.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the team by writing, formatting and sending client proposals, and assisting to keep our proposal system up to date. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with different teams across the business.

Training on how to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to speed up your writing and boost the quality of your work will be part of your learning experience along with completion of a Cert IV Business.

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, organised, and keen to learn. You don’t need years of experience – we’ll train you on everything you need to know. We’re more interested in your attitude, motivation, and attention to detail.

This role is perfect for recent school leavers or someone looking for a new career path.

Applicants for this role MUST:

• Be an Australian citizen
• Not have completed any qualification higher than a Certificate 4
• Be Melbourne based and willing to work full time from our Collins St Melbourne Office
• Be willing to commit to complete a formalised traineeship
• Have completed a Cert III Business or had some prior working experience.

Requirements

What You'll Learn and Do

• Write and send client proposals that clearly explain our services
• Work with templates and improve the way we present information
• Manage and update our proposal system (we currently use Qwilr)
• Use HubSpot (our CRM) to connect proposals with our sales pipeline
• Tailor proposals to suit each client, working closely with our Sales Director
• Use AI tools to improve your writing and efficiency
• Support the Sales and Revenue Operations team with general admin tasks
• Understand how cybersecurity services are delivered and communicated

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and spoken English and an eye for detail
• A love of clear, professional communication
• Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and other digital tools
• Organised, reliable and proactive
• Open to feedback and learning new tools like HubSpot and Qwilr
• Interest in IT, cybersecurity, or working in a fast-paced business environment
• Comfortable working with others and asking questions when needed
• Willingness to learn and use AI as part of your daily work

Traineeship Details

You will be enrolled in a 12–18 month Certificate IV in Business or similar as part of this role. You’ll gain real-world experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification. Upon successful completion, you may have the opportunity to move into a permanent role at Triskele Labs.
