We’re looking for a highly detail-oriented Transcription Editor to join our team and ensure the accuracy and quality of AI-generated transcripts. This role is perfect for someone who’s sharp with language, fast with fact-checking, and confident using modern tools like Google Docs and Slack. You’ll work with real-time content — including livestreams, official documents, and public testimonies — helping us deliver polished, high-quality transcripts that make an impact.
This position operates during U.S. business hours.
- Review and edit AI-generated transcripts for grammar, speaker accuracy, and clarity
- Cross-reference content with livestreams, public documents, memos, and testimonies
- Identify and flag inconsistencies, missing context, or unclear sections
- Apply common-sense judgment and quick research skills to maintain editorial quality
- Ensure fast and accurate turnarounds on high-priority documents
Requirements
- Fluent in written English with strong grammar and editing skills
- Comfortable reading memos, acronyms (e.g., CFPB), and technical language
- Fast and detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Meet), Slack, and AI-based tools
- Bonus: Previous experience with transcription or QA editing
