We're looking for someone who has a solid experience in:
- User Research: Conducting user research through methods like interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights, understand user behavior, and needs.
- Personas Creation: Developing detailed user personas based on user research and data, to help inform design decisions and strategies.
- User Journeys & Case Studies: Creating user journeys to visualize the path that users take through the product and preparing case studies to showcase design solutions and their impacts.
- Wireframing: Developing wireframes to lay out the structure of user interfaces and establish user flows.
- Prototyping: Creating interactive prototypes to demonstrate and test the functionality of proposed designs.
- UI/UX Design: Designing user-friendly and visually appealing user interfaces across various platforms like web, mobile, and other media, ensuring they align with user experience principles and guidelines.
- Client Communication: Interacting with clients to understand their requirements, presenting design concepts, collecting feedback, and ensuring the final designs meet their needs and expectations.
- Usability Testing: Conducting usability tests of designs to ensure they are user-friendly and meet the needs of the target audience.
- Design Updates & Improvements: Iterating on designs based on user feedback, usability test results, and other data, continually improving the user interface and user experience over time.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating closely with other team members, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment between the user interface and user experience design.
Requirements
Education
1. B.S. in Computer Science or any related field.
Experience
1) 5+ years of experience in relevant experience in the field of UI/UX design
Technical Skills:
▪ Design Tools: Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software for creating UI designs, wireframes, and prototypes.
▪ Figma: Expertise in Figma, a popular collaborative design tool that enables real-time collaboration, design version control, and prototyping capabilities.
▪ Wireflows: Knowledge of wireflows, which combine the elements of wireframes and user flows, providing a visual representation of both the structure and functionality of a user interface.
▪ Interactive Prototypes: Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, InVision, Proto.io, or Adobe XD, allowing users to interact with and experience the design's functionality.
▪ Design Systems: Experience in establishing and maintaining design systems, which include UI component libraries, style guides, and design patterns, to ensure consistency and efficiency in design workflows.
▪ Design Thinking: Familiarity with the design thinking methodology, which involves empathizing with users, defining problems, ideating solutions, prototyping, and testing to create user-centered designs.
▪ Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, iterate designs, and adapt to changing project requirements.
