Description: Responsible for providing a warm, professional arrival and departure experience for residents and guests by safely parking and retrieving vehicles. Supports the Environmental Services team with a focus on curbside hospitality, safety, and cleanliness of the community’s front entrance.
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents and guests with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Park and retrieve vehicles promptly, safely, and responsibly.
- Assist residents, guests, and team members entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
- Maintain traffic flow in front of the community, ensuring the area remains clean and free from obstructions.
- Communicate professionally with the front desk, concierge, and security teams to ensure seamless service.
- Perform regular inspections of valet equipment, traffic cones, and signage to ensure all are in good working order.
- Maintain clear documentation of vehicle tags and keys.
- Provide support during community events by assisting with parking and transportation coordination.
- Monitor weather conditions and provide umbrellas or other assistance to residents as needed.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately to the Director of Resident Experience.
- May assist with light porter duties or delivery support as directed.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five (5) or more years of driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Able to walk or stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Motor Vehicle Record Policy standards.
- Demonstrate ESL values by fostering a positive and respectful environment for residents and guests.
- Ensure a consistent presence at the front drive to support resident and guest arrival and departure.
- Ability to work varied schedules to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
