Our client, a U.S.-based wholesale e-commerce distribution company, is specifically looking for candidates with experience in wholesale distribution and brokering of name-branded consumer products (e.g., items commonly found in grocery stores like Colgate). The ideal candidate has a proven track record of opening and managing branded accounts, building long-term B2B relationships, and working within structured sales environments. Management experience is a strong plus, particularly if you’ve led sales teams, implemented CRM systems, or built internal sales processes. Existing industry connections or buyer relationships are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and growing wholesale distribution operations, particularly with name-branded consumer products.
  • Opening and managing branded accounts, and establishing new business relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Setting up and managing CRM systems to track leads, sales, and client relationships.
  • Building out and improving internal systems and processes within the company.
  • Ensuring long-term commitment to the company.
  • Providing feedback and collaborating with the team on candidate profiles and hiring decisions

Requirements

  • Experience specifically in wholesale sales and distribution, ideally with household items or electronics.
  • Proven ability to open branded accounts, establish new B2B relationships, and bring in new clients (e.g., retailers, resellers, distributors).
  • Existing industry network or buyer contacts is a strong bonus.
  • Experience setting up or managing CRM systems, building sales pipelines, organizing lead follow-up, and optimizing outreach systems.
  • Preferably has experience managing a sales team, creating systems, and improving sales operations and workflows.
  • Prefer eastern/Pacific time zone or at least 3 hours difference.
