Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Scrum Master/Program Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will drive Agile practices within large-scale, enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on platform modernization. This role will work with cross-functional teams, guiding them to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with business goals.
Requirements
- Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all standard Scrum ceremonies and ensuring that Agile principles are followed.
- Provide leadership and coaching to Agile teams in their continuous improvement and Agile maturity.
- Support the product owner and collaborate with architects and engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of technology modernization goals.

- Agile Practices & Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes, performance, and Agile maturity.
- Identify and resolve impediments that hinder team progress and escalate issues as necessary.
- Guide teams and stakeholders in Agile best practices, promoting a high-performing Agile culture.

- Project Management & Transparency:
- Provide transparency into project status, team health, and delivery metrics using tools like Jira, Confluence, and others.
- Support enterprise-level Agile transformation efforts and help scale Agile frameworks where necessary.

- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple domains, ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives.
- Support stakeholders and team members in identifying and overcoming challenges.

Required Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architecture, APIs, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and related technical topics.

- Agile Experience:
- Proven success in managing Agile teams for large-scale, enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.

- Leadership & Communication:
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills to drive team performance and facilitate smooth interactions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple domains.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience:
- Recent experience in the financial services industry.
- Previous experience working at Fidelity Investments (FMR) with positive references.
- Familiarity with the BFSI sector, including companies like Charles Schwab, Capital One, Vanguard, or Morgan Stanley.

- Technical Expertise in Platform Modernization:
- Experience with major platform modernization projects or legacy-to-cloud transitions.
