Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Ensure high-performance and availability of websites while managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into responsive web designs.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Implement and manage website security protocols, backups, and recovery processes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot performance issues, bugs, and conflicts in existing websites.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and WordPress updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role (2+ years preferred) in iGaming industry.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and ensuring compliance on WordPress sites.
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in iGaming, sports betting, casino, or related industries is a plus.
