SmartSourcing is looking for an experienced Academy Manager to lead the operations and curriculum development of the SmartSourcing Academy. This role is critical in executing the Academy's long-term vision and aligning its learning initiatives with business growth, talent strategy, and client needs. The Academy Manager will serve as a strategic learning partner, overseeing end-to-end learning and development (L&D) functions including training needs analysis, certification programs, and curriculum design tailored to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

Curriculum Strategy & Development

• Design and implement strategic, client-aligned curricula that support internal growth and client training needs.

End-to-End L&D Management

• Lead the execution of training programs, including delivery, assessment, reporting, and certification.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

• Partner with business units and clients to assess learning gaps and tailor solutions for both internal teams and external partners.

Business Development & Stakeholder Engagement

• Position the Academy as a strategic asset by engaging universities, industry associations, and clients. Represent Smartsourcing in external learning and development forums such as the Philippine Society for Training and Development.

People Leadership

• Lead and coach a team of L&D professionals. Build a high-performing training function aligned with workforce planning in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Data-Driven Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor training effectiveness and continuously refine learning initiatives through feedback, metrics, and business impact analysis.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in HR, Education, Psychology, or Business)
• Strong background in curriculum design, training delivery, and learning evaluation
• Experience in HR or Learning & Development roles with stakeholder management responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to network and influence across internal teams and external clients, universities, and industry groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a training academy or center of learning
• Professional L&D certification (e.g., CPTD, DDI, ATD)
• Familiarity with Philippine L&D industry best practices and university partnerships
