This is a high-impact role designed for a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to take ownership of critical revenue operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment. As an Accounting Specialist, you will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and clean, audit-ready documentation — all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Accountabilities:
- Oversee the complete accounts receivable lifecycle — from accurate invoicing to consistent customer follow-up and collections.
- Reconcile revenue across product lines, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with audit standards.
- Prepare and accrue partner commission payments, ensuring precise alignment with contract terms and schedules.
- Use systems like NetSuite and Salesforce to track and report on revenue and collections in real time.
- Support month-end close processes, revenue recognition, and internal/external audits with accurate reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner teams to resolve billing disputes and optimize revenue workflows.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives that drive efficiency and accuracy in revenue operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or billing operations, ideally within a high-growth or SaaS environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and recordkeeping.
- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and Excel or equivalent spreadsheet tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a remote-first, fast-paced setting.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a mindset for continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 15 days per year for company or team gatherings).
