Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced App Security Architect with 8 + years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OKTA and Access Management with a strong background in the Payer domain. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can design and implement robust security solutions ensuring the protection of sensitive data and systems. The position operates during the day shift with no travel required.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive application security architectures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze security requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance system security.
- Oversee the deployment and management of OKTA and Access Management solutions to ensure secure access control.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and security best practices.
- Develop and maintain security policies procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor security trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
- Lead incident response efforts to quickly mitigate security breaches and minimize impact.
- Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and tools to enhance the organizations security posture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate security risks and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Ensure that security solutions align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of OKTA and Access Management technologies.
- Demonstrate expertise in the Payer domain with a focus on security requirements.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
- Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and implementing corrective actions.
- Display strong communication skills to convey security concepts to diverse audiences.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - $143,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
