Location: Zürich, Switzerland (Hybrid)

Contract duration: 1 year

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and solution-oriented Azure Cloud Architect to join our team. This role focuses on designing, migrating, and optimizing enterprise workloads on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps, security, and infrastructure automation, with hands-on expertise in building scalable, secure, and resilient solutions in regulated environments.

· Implement Azure security best practices (IAM, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel).

· Integration & Data Engineering

· Integrate enterprise systems using Azure API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus, and Logic Apps.

· Architect data solutions leveraging Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and real-time streaming (Kafka, Event Hub).

· Monitoring & Optimization

· Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

· Work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.

· Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

· Continuously assess emerging Azure services and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 8+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 4+ years in cloud architecture (Azure focus).

· Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).

· Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Helm.

· Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).

· Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management.

· Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or similar).

· Experience integrating enterprise systems via APIs, messaging (Service Bus/Event Hub), and data pipelines.

· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

· Azure certification(s): Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
