As Azure Cloud Architect, you will make an impact by implementing scalable cloud architectures. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Healthcare team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Kubernetes Services and Azure Catalogue with a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. This role requires a hybrid work model with occasional travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud solutions that enhance our healthcare services.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Azure Kubernetes Services to optimize healthcare solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Azure Catalogue into existing systems ensuring seamless operations.
  • Analyze Medicare and Medicaid Claims processes to identify opportunities for cloud-based improvements.
  • Lead the development of cloud strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance service delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure successful deployment of cloud solutions.
  • Oversee the migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms minimizing downtime and ensuring data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Monitor cloud performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all cloud-related activities.
  • Conduct regular assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to align cloud initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new cloud technologies and methodologies to enhance service offerings.
  • Facilitate training sessions to upskill team members on cloud technologies and best practices.

What you need to have to be considered

  • Possess extensive experience in Azure Kubernetes Services and Azure Catalogue demonstrating a deep understanding of cloud technologies.
  • Have a strong background in Medicare and Medicaid Claims with the ability to apply domain knowledge to cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Show a proven track record of successful cloud architecture implementations in the healthcare sector.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until September 26, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 to $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
