Azure Data Engineer (Remote - Malaysia)

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain highly efficient, scalable ETL pipelines using big data technologies.
• Deploy code to production environments and ensure their stability and performance.
• Utilize large-scale cloud infrastructure to create high-throughput services.
• Design and implement data solutions using SQL and Python.
• Apply best practices in data governance, quality, and modeling.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting complex information clearly to both large and small audiences.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects meeting stakeholder requirements.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a data engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), and Azure SQL Server.
• Skilled in orchestrating Azure Databricks workflows using languages like Python, Scala, R, or SQL.
• Experience developing pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficient in Python or other object-oriented/object-functional scripting languages.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and cloud workload orchestration.
• Experience with legacy database migration is an advantage.
