Are you a commercially minded professional with strong technical expertise and experience in the industrial or energy sectors? This is your chance to join Intertek — a trusted global partner in Total Quality Assurance — and play a key role in growing our Industry Services business across the Czech market.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive market expansion by building strategic client relationships, leading complex sales initiatives, and identifying new revenue opportunities. This is a high-impact, autonomous role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategic planning and hands-on business development.

·       Drive Growth: Develop and execute a market-focused sales strategy aligned with Intertek’s business objectives, taking full ownership of expanding the client base and driving revenue growth from existing customers.

·       Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored technical solutions across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Construction, and Chemical.

·       Full Sales Ownership: Oversee the entire business development process – from prospecting and preparing proposals to contract negotiation and deal closure.

·       Cross-Selling and Synergy: Champion Intertek’s comprehensive service portfolio, identifying cross-selling opportunities and maximizing client value.

·       Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client developments to keep strategies relevant and competitive.

·       Reporting and CRM: Ensure accurate and timely recording of sales activities and pipeline updates in the CRM system, complemented by regular performance reporting.

Requirements

Are you the one?

·       Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development, technical sales, or project management, ideally within EPCs, manufacturing, or industrial services sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, or Construction.

·       Client Focus: Demonstrated success in building and nurturing strategic client relationships within B2B environments.

·       Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Czech and English.

·       Mindset: Confident self-starter with a structured, results-oriented approach; able to thrive independently while working effectively with cross-functional teams.

·       Problem Solver: Consultative sales mindset with the ability to identify, analyze, and proactively address client needs.

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent professional experience and industry knowledge will also be considered.
