Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a skilled care facility in Queens, NY. This role involves providing direct patient care to residents in a long-term care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during night shifts and other available shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding.
- Monitor and report changes in residents’ health to nursing staff.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA program.
- Licensure/Certifications: Active CNA certification in New York and proof of Hepatitis B immunity (required).
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in long-term care.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ADLs (activities of daily living), vital sign monitoring, and infection control.
- Soft Skills: Compassion, adaptability to varying shifts, and strong teamwork abilities.
