Cloud Architect

About the role
As a Cloud Architect, you will make an impact by transforming how businesses in the manufacturing and logistic sectors operate. Your work will directly impact mission-critical systems, enabling smarter decisions, greater efficiency, and a more sustainable future. You will be a valued member of our Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with our Infra Architect.

In this role, you will
• Design and deliver scalable, resilient cloud architectures that align with business goals.
• Integrate Oracle DB Admin solutions into cloud and hybrid environments.
• Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
• Collaborate across teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Document architecture and processes to support clarity, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability.
• Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating emerging cloud technologies and tools.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Champion automation to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
• Drive innovation by exploring new cloud capabilities that support business and societal impact.

What you need to have to be considered
• 6–10 years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong focus on Oracle DB Admin and Oracle technologies.
• Experience in Energy Supply & Trading or Utilities is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
• Deep understanding of cloud compliance, security, and governance best practices.

• Oracle Certified Professional – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until September 19, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $73,350 - $116,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
