About the role

As a Cloud Networking Engineer, you will make an impact by playing a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud and networking infrastructure. Your work will directly support seamless airline operations and improve customer experience by implementing network solutions, managing monitoring systems, and resolving complex technical issues. You’ll collaborate across teams and provide technical guidance to strengthen the overall stability of mission-critical systems. You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with the Engagement Delivery Lead.

In this role, you will:
• Implement and oversee network changes during scheduled change windows (including after-hours).
• Create and manage network changes in alignment with ticketing system requirements.
• Perform Lifecycle Management (LCM) and Vulnerability Management activities.
• Triage and resolve network incidents, escalating appropriately when required.
• Ensure compliance with change and engineering standards documentation.
• Provide second-tier support for the Network Operations team and participate in on-call escalation rotations.
• Serve as a technical resource, offering guidance to the L1 Network Operations team.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Dallas, TX. What you need to have to be considered
• 1 to 3 years of experience in IT monitoring or system administration with hands-on expertise using LogicMonitor.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP, etc.), infrastructure components (servers, databases, networks), and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reports in LogicMonitor.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Groovy) for automation and monitoring customization.
• Experience configuring, deploying, and maintaining monitoring solutions for infrastructure, network devices, applications
