This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC. We are currently looking for a Contract Administrator in Virginia (USA).
This role offers the opportunity to manage the full lifecycle of complex contracts within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will play a critical part in negotiating, administering, and ensuring compliance for a variety of contracts involving government agencies, municipalities, and private sector clients. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help drive operational excellence by maintaining contract integrity and facilitating successful project execution. This position demands strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to navigate federal regulations, all while supporting innovative technical solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Manage contract lifecycle from pre-proposal development through award and closeout, including compliance and reporting at federal, state, and local levels.
- Negotiate and administer contracts and subcontracts with government agencies and private sector customers, including teaming and nondisclosure agreements.
- Conduct price analyses for subcontractor proposals and prepare related narratives for prime contract submissions.
- Review solicitations, provide proposal guidance, and assist in meeting contract requirements.
- Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with terms, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters and provide advisory support regarding regulations and compliance.
- Maintain contract data repositories and ensure centralized, auditable contract documentation.
- Oversee contract closeout reviews and compliance reporting, including federal ethics training and Title VI requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of federal contract administration experience in software and services environments.
- Expertise in various contract types such as FFP, CPFF, T&M, and IDIQ vehicles.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition proposal processes, GSA Schedules, GWACs, and FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint (including O365 Online), and CRM systems.
- Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and business management skills.
- Ability to independently research regulatory issues and apply them effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or JD candidate status is a plus.
- Preferred certifications: CCM, CFCM, or CPCM.
- U.S. government security clearance eligibility preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in an office setting.
