This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced climate-tech company making a direct impact on energy efficiency and sustainability across thousands of buildings. As a Customer Support Manager, you’ll engage directly with property managers and building owners to ensure optimal system performance, tenant comfort, and reduced carbon emissions. You’ll manage a consistent shift from Tuesday to Saturday (11:30 AM–8:00 PM EST), making it ideal for candidates in PST or MST time zones. This is a mission-driven environment that values adaptability, strong communication, and customer-first problem-solving.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide real-time technical support via live phone calls on a 24/7 support line.
  • Remotely troubleshoot heating and energy systems in multifamily and commercial buildings.
  • Analyze system data and perform real-time settings adjustments using the internal platform.
  • Conduct remote quality assurance after installations or service calls to ensure system performance.
  • Partner with a wide range of customers—from individual property owners to large companies—by acting as a trusted advisor on energy-saving strategies.
  • Help customers achieve fuel reduction goals and ensure tenant comfort through continuous monitoring and optimization.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Support, Service, Sales, or Account Management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect easily with customers.
  • A natural problem solver, capable of quickly diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
  • Comfortable distilling technical concepts into clear, actionable advice for customers.
  • Highly adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-changing environment.
  • Motivated to go the extra mile during peak periods, particularly in winter.
  • Passionate about sustainability, real estate, and/or energy efficiency.
  • A reliable, high-speed internet connection is essential for remote work.
  • Belief in values such as humility, sincerity, resilience, and operational efficiency.
