PRIORITY Quality Consultants is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
The Cybersecurity Engineer role involves developing, deploying, and managing security technologies to safeguard the organization's information systems, networks, and confidential data. The position also plays a key part in ensuring adherence to both Greek and EU cybersecurity regulations, while contributing to the company’s risk management efforts and ensuring operational resilience.
Primary Duties:
• Design and uphold security frameworks and procedures in accordance with internal policies and applicable regulations (e.g., NIS2, GDPR).
• Handle security event detection and response, perform digital forensics, and oversee cyber threat monitoring.
• Deploy, configure, and support security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, and endpoint defense solutions.
• Work closely with IT and risk stakeholders to identify system weaknesses and execute security assessments, including ethical hacking.
• Drive internal cybersecurity training initiatives to boost employee awareness and resilience.
• Coordinate with global cybersecurity counterparts to ensure local controls meet international compliance and governance expectations.
• Support the IT team in developing and managing strategies for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
