Accountabilities:
- Lead list management and support voter engagement campaigns by creating clean, normalized contact data and custom queries (50%).
- Design and manage data infrastructure, including global schema standardization, survey data integration, and ETL pipelines (30%).
- Collaborate with software engineers to maintain data ingestion and synchronization between Redshift and third-party platforms (20%).
- Write ad-hoc SQL queries for internal stakeholders and identify automation opportunities for recurring tasks.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across various tools and outreach platforms.
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of integrations between internal systems and external APIs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with large relational data systems and strong SQL skills, including performance optimization.
- Proficient in data architecture best practices, schema design, and ETL workflows (especially with dbt or similar tools).
- Experience with Git for version control and integrating data from diverse sources.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fully remote environment.
- A proactive mindset with an emphasis on privacy, security, and data resilience.
- Bonus: Experience with campaigning tools (e.g., ActionKit, Mobilize, Spoke), voter file data (e.g., TargetSmart), or building custom data pipelines.
