Database Admin

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and administering RDBMS databases required (MySQL),
• Knowledge on PostgreSQL, MSSQL is a plus,
• Experience with Data design principles,
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field,
• Perform debugging, tuning and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration aspect of the RDBMS platform,
• Java knowledge
• Python is a plus.
• Knowledge on cloud database managed instance (Azure, AWS) is a plus,
• Knowledge on NoSQL (MongoDb) platform is a plus,
• Experience with Windows and Linux management,
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting skills in relation to the databases,
• Encryption and masking of sensitive data,
• Experience developing data management operations,
• Production and maintenance of high-quality operational documentation,
• Involve in Business User Meetings to understand their expectations,
• Ability to function well in a team working independently and with good communication skills
• Manage queries in the big data ecosystem and analyze complex data related issues and optimize solution.
• Ability to work with various Data visualization platforms like power BI, (Qlik sense / Oracle Business Intelligence
• Good knowledge of English.
