Due to rapid growth and expansion we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Designer to join our Design & Production team
This is a fast paced position working alongside another garment technician and closely with various teams within our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with trend research, mood boards, and seasonal concept development
- Research and identify key trends, items, colours for collections
- Assist the design team with the creation of CADs using Adobe creative suite
- Support the design team across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final sample approval
- Help prepare design presentations and range overviews
- Manage and track fabric, trim and custom developments developments
- Help manage and organise fabric swatches, trims, and lab dips, maintaining up-to-date resource libraries
- Manage and track all incoming factory parcels, ensuring timely delivery, accurate logging, and communication with relevant teams
Requirements
- Recently graduated, studying or currently studying Fashion Design
- Strong Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work to deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume environment
- In-depth knowledge of emerging trends, brands, boutiques, influencers, and wider pop culture.
- Strong instinct for the WF customer and evolving brand identity, with a clear understanding of the current fashion landscape.
- Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
