Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a full- time opportunity in Austin, TX.
This is a full-time onsite position in Downtown Austin , and the prospective candidate will have to work from the client office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
· Diagnosing and resolving desktop/laptop hardware and software issues, both remotely and in person, through various methods like phone, chat, web tickets or in-person assistance.
· Mobile device management
· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
· Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
· Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
Qualifications:
· 1 to 3 years of Service Desk Tech work experience
· Good at desktop troubleshooting (Windows & Mac)
· MDM – Mobile Device Management
· Excellent communication & customer handling skills
· ITIL Certified (Good to have)
