Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a full-time opportunity in New York City, NY.
The salary range for this role is between $50,000 and $57,000 depending on the skills and experience of the candidate. Qualified candidates must have valid US work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support for end-user tools ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of Nexthink leveraging its capabilities to monitor and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues by minimizing downtime and improving productivity.
- Implement best practices for desktop support ensuring a seamless experience for users in a hybrid work environment.
- Conduct regular system audits and updates to maintain security and compliance standards.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for users to maximize the utilization of end user tools.
- Analyze system data to identify trends and recommend improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and user guides to support system operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Monitor system performance metrics and provide reports to management for informed decision-making.
- Support the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all technical operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services aligning with the company’s strategic goals.
