Job Tittle: DevOps Engineer

LOCATION: Chicago, IL

Job Summary

Mandatory Skills required: GitHub Actions, Amazon EKS, JBOSS, IaC Terraform, Argo CDP (medium).

· Create and manage Github Actions pipelines for diff use cases like IaC, CICD, Monitoring, Custom pipelines

· Create and Manage AWS Infrastructure using IAC, preferably Terraform, Ansible, Packer.

· Good Scripting knowledge like Shell, Python and well-versed with YAML, JSON

· Identify Automation opportunities for infra, Environment and log management

· Infrastructure provisioning, decommissioning, Cloud Operations management

· Hands on experience in managing the large scale containers using Kubernetes and Containerization concepts

· Good knowledge on the version control system, preferably Git.

· Implementing, support and maintaining the other DevOps tools like Maven, Sonarqube, Veracode, ECR, Git, GitFlow, Kubernetes, etc.

· Good to have exposure on monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana and ELK.

· Should be able to work independently and deliver the projects with Agility.

· Should have good understanding on Linux environment.

· Understanding on key AWS services.

· Work closely with other stakeholders like Product Development team, Release and Change management folks to deliver Devops tasks.

· Nice to have understanding on Middleware components like Jboss and Nginx.

· Good flair towards presentation skills. Able to present and demonstrate solution in a convincing manner. Able to convince all stake holders involved towards the recommended solutions.

· Continuous Process Improvements, Quality initiatives, Standardization and fine-tuning

The annual salary for this position is between $ 75,000 - $92,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
