DevOps Engineer
Talent Worx is looking for a dynamic and skilled DevOps Engineer to join our progressive team. In this role, you will integrate development and operations to optimize and streamline our software delivery processes. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and integration of software updates.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Work closely with development teams to refine and optimize build processes, deployment strategies, and collaboration practices.
- Monitor the system’s performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications and services.
- Manage system security, including setup, deployment, and maintenance of firewall and access control systems.
- Continuously improve system performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues across the development and production environments.
- Document processes, best practices, and configurations for reproducibility and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash for automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL, including implementation and management.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen focus on operational excellence.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless architectures.
- Experience in implementing automated security practices in CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
