The Role
As a Diesel Mechanic, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing a variety of trucks, mobile plant, and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing regular servicing, inspections, and repairs
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system issues
• Conducting preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance and lifespan
• Using diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend effective solutions
• Collaborating with team members to manage workloads and meet deadlines
• Upholding strict workplace health and safety standards

About You
We’re seeking candidates who bring:

• Recognised trade qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic/Fitter or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
• A strong eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and a collaborative, team-focused mindset
• A commitment to safety and adherence to industry standards. Flexibility to handle on-site tasks, including occasional weekends or emergency cal-louts
