We’re searching for a highly-talented and driven individual to join our team as Director, Lifecycle Marketing. This is a high-impact role that will work across Snowflake sales, product, partners, and marketing teams to develop and execute initiatives to drive adoption and revenue.
This role requires in-office attendance in Menlo Park, CA at least 3 days per week.
Snowflake is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our efforts in driving growth and engagement within our on demand business segment and customer marketing programs. This role is pivotal in shaping the customer journey, optimizing product-led growth strategies, and maximizing customer lifetime value. You will lead a team of 4 focused on creating and executing impactful lifecycle marketing programs.
Architect & Own Lifecycle Marketing Strategy: Define, implement, and continuously optimize end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategies for Snowflake's self-serve business, aligning directly with our ambitious growth objectives. This includes mapping the customer journey (Trial, Activation, Engagement, Expansion, Advocacy) and establishing clear objectives and KPIs for each stage.
Drive Customer Engagement and Retention: Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, in-product messaging, etc.) to onboard new users, increase product adoption, and minimize churn.
Lead and Mentor: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of lifecycle marketing professionals, fostering a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
Deliver Results: Establish key input and output metrics, set aggressive targets, and drive campaigns and experiences that deliver direct business impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Marketing Intelligence to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of lifecycle marketing efforts.
Experimentation and Innovation: Drive a culture of experimentation, testing new approaches, using and analyzing data to drive next best actions while leveraging AI technologies to enhance efficiency.
Customer Segmentation and Personalization: Develop and refine customer segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and relevant messaging at each stage of the customer lifecycle.
Voice of the Customer: Champion the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that lifecycle marketing efforts are aligned with customer needs and preferences.
8-10 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in a SaaS environment.
Deep understanding of product-led growth principles and experience in leveraging product experiences to drive customer acquisition, activation, and retention.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Marketing Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional teams.
Customer-Centric Mindset: A passion for understanding customer behavior and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
BS/BA, MBA preferred

Compensation Range: $196K - $292.9K
