In this role, you’ll work on a cutting-edge visual storytelling platform, contributing across the full technology stack to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. You will design and implement intuitive user interfaces, robust backend services, and innovative AI-driven features that empower users to create professional visuals effortlessly. Collaboration will be at the heart of your work, partnering with designers, product managers, and engineers to bring new ideas to life. You’ll also play a key role in technical decision-making, mentoring, and driving best practices in code quality and architecture. This is a fully remote opportunity, giving you the flexibility to excel from anywhere in APAC or the EU.

Accountabilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS.
• Develop scalable backend systems and services to support a high-performing web platform.
• Implement AI-powered features to enhance design capabilities and creativity.
• Build complex, performant SVG-based elements with dynamic updates and interactive functionality.
• Apply advanced rendering techniques using DOM, CSS, Canvas, WebGL, or SVG for high-fidelity visual output.
• Create interactive visual editing tools (drag, drop, resize, rotate, align, group) to give users full creative control.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security across both front-end and back-end architectures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, user-centric features.
• Participate in technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor fellow developers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack developer, ideally in SaaS or web application environments.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails and modern front-end frameworks (Vue, React, or Svelte).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and web application architecture.
• Experience with AI feature development or integration.
• Solid skills in database design, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• A user-first approach combined with strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to learn and mentor.
