Position Overview:
As a Gastroenterologist, you will provide expert diagnosis and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal disorders in a dynamic multi-specialty practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
- Perform specialized tests to diagnose patients
- Determine proper courses of treatment
- Consult with a patient's primary doctor and other specialists
- Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
- Analyze patient historical data
- Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
- Perform surgery in the digestive tract
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Licensure: Active NY State License
- Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnostic testing and endoscopic procedures
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and patient assessment skills
