Position Overview:
As a Gastroenterologist, you will provide expert diagnosis and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal disorders in a dynamic multi-specialty practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with patients to understand their health concerns
  • Perform specialized tests to diagnose patients
  • Determine proper courses of treatment
  • Consult with a patient's primary doctor and other specialists
  • Perform endoscopic procedures to inspect internal organs
  • Analyze patient historical data
  • Perform X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound scanning
  • Perform surgery in the digestive tract

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Licensure: Active NY State License
  • Experience: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in diagnostic testing and endoscopic procedures
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and patient assessment skills
