GCP Architect (Google Cloud Architect)

Cognizant is seeking a Google Cloud Practitioner Architect for a full-time remote opportunity.

The salary range for this role is between $114,000 and $133,500 depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applicants must be physically located in the US and have valid US work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. Applications will be accepted till 9/15.

Responsibilities:

· Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using GCP.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture strategies and cloud migration plans.

· Lead technical discussions and create proof-of-concepts for cloud-based solutions.

· Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities using tools like AutoML and AI Platform.

· Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.

Required Skills:

· Proficiency in GCP services: Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.

· Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager).

· Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Scripting skills in Python and Bash.
