As a General Ledger Accountant, you'll be responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Operations to ensure clarity, accuracy, and efficiency in all accounting processes. Accountabilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Respond to internal and external audit requests with complete and organized records.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial accuracy and reporting initiatives.
  • Drive process improvements, ensuring clarity, GAAP compliance, and robust internal controls.
  • Contribute accounting expertise to company-wide projects, enhancing financial transparency and efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience with a solid understanding of US GAAP.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Suite, and accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Bonus points for experience in tech or startup environments and CPA or CPA eligibility.
