  • Ensure compliance through regular audits (I-9s, background checks, arbitration agreements).
  • Manage day-to-day support within the HRIS (Workday) system, offering process training and troubleshooting guidance to local HR staff.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, succession strategies, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and training during acquisitions and facility transitions.
  • Partner with risk and legal departments on complex employee relations and worker compensation cases.
  • Stay updated on state, federal, and local employment law changes and adapt policies accordingly.
  • Provide regional training tailored to the needs of HR staff, especially in compliance and employee engagement.
  • Understand and interpret union activity and collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a consultative, proactive approach.
  • Strong experience with HRIS platforms, especially Workday, including training and support.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Comfortable traveling 25% of the time by car or air.
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of standard weekday hours, including weekends if needed.

Benefits
