As we continue scaling globally, we’re looking for an experienced IT Administrator based in our Hamburg office to help us maintain and evolve our internal IT systems with a focus on operational excellence, strong problem solving skills, a people first mindset, and security at the core. 

You’ll be the go-to support for local employees in Hamburg while contributing to IT operations across our international offices. You’ll work in a Mac-first environment, supporting day-to-day IT needs, managing IT onboarding/offboarding, maintaining SaaS tools and hardware, and ensuring our office and network infrastructure runs smoothly. This role combines IT support with process automation and continuous improvement.

Please note: For this role, we are looking for candidates who are already based within the European Union (or EFTA countries) and who have valid work authorization to work for a Germany-based employer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide relocation or visa sponsorship for this position.

Who we're looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, ideally in a SaaS or fast-moving tech environment
  • Strong expertise with macOS, and a solid grasp of Windows environments
  • Hands-on experience with our core stack: Kandji, Intune, Okta, 1Password, Freshservice, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom
  • A security-first mindset and familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC 2
  • Confident troubleshooting, proactive support attitude, and excellent communication in English
  • Bonus: Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) and/or German language proficiency

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with ZTNA, VPN alternatives, or modern remote access tools
  • Interest in vendor management and contract renewals
  • Passion for scaling IT systems and creating great employee experiences

Your tasks

  • Deliver hands-on IT support in our Hamburg office and remotely, covering onboarding/offboarding, device setup, troubleshooting, and hardware (printers, AV, networking)
  • Manage and optimize Kandji (macOS) and Intune (Windows) MDM systems in line with CIS compliance standards
  • Maintain and improve local office infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, network devices, and meeting room tech
  • Use Freshservice and Jira to manage tickets, implement ITSM best practices, and ensure great service across the lifecycle
  • Collaborate on IT asset management, compliance tracking, and cost control initiatives
  • Support internal events and act as the go-to contact for smooth IT logistics in Hamburg

If you live within a commutable distance from one of our office locations, we require you to work on-site at least one day per week, with Wednesdays as the designated in-office day. While Wednesday is the minimum, we recommend spending 2 (or more) days in the office each week. For those further away, we look forward to seeing you two days per month during our team events to foster collaboration and team spirit
