We are seeking a skilled IT Support / Help Desk Technician with 1-3 years of experience to provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support server maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server environments (Windows/Linux), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level IT support via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, macOS, Office 365, etc.).
- Assist with Windows server administration and Linux OS administration (user management, permissions, backups, updates).
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in a Windows server environment.
- Document IT incidents and resolutions in a ticketing system (e.g., Workflow, K2).
- Assist with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
- Support virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) as needed.
- Educate users on IT best practices and security policies.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on infrastructure projects
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in system Admin, IT Support, with expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), AD Connect, and Linux OS administration
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and/or Linux servers.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, PowerShell commands, Azure AD, and Office 365 administration.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and ITIL processes.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
- Experience with remote desktop support tools (SCCM, Microsoft Intune, RDP).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
