Job Summary: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and self-driven Video Content Creator & Editor to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content from long-form interviews, podcast recordings, and internal videos—repurposing them into compelling short-form clips for platforms like YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. Your work will directly support our podcast and marketing teams in driving audience engagement and visual consistency across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Production:

● Edit podcast episodes, interviews, and marketing content using DaVinci Resolve Studio (preferred) or Final Cut Pro

● Repurpose long-form content into engaging shorts using Descript and Opus Clips

● Clean and enhance audio using PodCastle

● Add branded thumbnails and graphics using Canva or Photoshop

● Incorporate captions, hooks, and pacing optimized for each platform

● Edit internal content such as team interviews, training, sales, and marketing videos

● Sync and mix b-roll, music, sound effects, and voiceovers

● Perform color grading (a plus, not required)

Graphic Design Support:

● Use brand templates to maintain consistent visual style

● Assist in creating scroll-stopping thumbnails and high-CTR visuals

File Management:

● Organize and label source and export files in Google Drive with a consistent structure

● Ensure files are easily searchable and well-structured for collaboration

Collaboration & Execution:

● Work closely with the Podcasting Content Manager to align on direction, expectations, and creative timelines

● Communicate proactively about progress, deadlines, and revisions

● Operate effectively in a remote, async team environment

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

● 2+ years of proven video editing experience (DaVinci Resolve Studio or Final Cut Pro preferred)

● Strong ability to transform long-form content into captivating short-form videos

● Familiarity with editing podcasts and various internal content types

● Basic graphic design skills; experience with Canva or Photoshop

● Strong organization skills and consistent file management habits

● Understanding of editing best practices, pacing, audio balancing, and platform-specific content trends

● Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication

● Tools we use: Primary: DaVinci Resolve Studio, Descript, Opus Clips, Canva (Additional: Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, PodCastle, CapCut)
