This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the day-to-day operations of a growing residential real estate portfolio within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Junior Property Operations Associate will work closely with cross-functional teams managing property management, maintenance, leasing, and corporate development. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic setting and enjoys both operational and administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining excellent tenant experiences and supporting portfolio growth through effective coordination and problem-solving.

Accountabilities

  • Support onboarding of new property acquisitions and assist with implementing team-wide policies and procedures.
  • Manage resident communications, including responding to inbound calls, emails, and portal inquiries.
  • Coordinate scheduling and follow-up for maintenance activities involving field technicians and contractors.
  • Conduct on-site property inspections for turnovers and quarterly checks.
  • Perform monthly audits of rent collections and billing for completed work orders.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies through quarterly audits.
  • Assist with resident move-in, move-out, and leasing processes, including showings and application reviews.
  • Participate in property operations meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields; real estate industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient with computer tools, especially Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexible availability to support rotating weekday evening coverage and occasional weekend hours as part of a 40-hour workweek schedule.
