Lead Automation QA (Remote - India)

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and execution of cutting-edge automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing. You will oversee the full testing lifecycle, mentor team members, and collaborate directly with clients to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality solutions. Leveraging your expertise in Java or Python, you will implement best practices in automation, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and drive innovation across projects. Accountabilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of automation testing for web, mobile, and API projects.
• Develop and maintain robust frameworks using Java or Python, incorporating design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM).
• Execute different automation approaches including BDD, hybrid, and keyword-driven frameworks.
• Conduct API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or SOAPUI, covering both RESTful and SOAP services.
• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies (e.g., Katalon, Cypress, Protector).
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and learning.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to align testing strategies with project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 6+ years of proven experience in QA automation with expertise in Java or Python.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and automation design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with API testing frameworks and tools.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD integration.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with proven experience mentoring teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a client-facing role.
