Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Lead for a full-time opportunity in Chappaqua, NY. This is an onsite role. Qualified candidates should have valid US work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

The salary range for this role is between $79,000 and $92,000 depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in IT Service Management and Remote Desktop Support with a strong background in Medicare & Medicaid Claims. This role requires day shifts and may involve travel. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure ensuring seamless operations and contributing to the company’s mission.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee IT service management processes to ensure efficient operations and service delivery.
  • Provide remote desktop support to resolve technical issues and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize IT infrastructure to improve performance and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Conduct regular assessments of IT systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Support Medicare & Medicaid Claims processing by ensuring IT systems are aligned with industry standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of IT services and products.
  • Monitor and manage IT assets to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance IT security and protect sensitive data from unauthorized access.
  • Participate in the development of IT strategies and plans to support organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all IT operations.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate expertise in remote desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Have a solid background in Medicare & Medicaid Claims processing.
  • Show proficiency in analyzing and optimizing IT infrastructure.
