This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Linux Systems Administrator to support and optimize cloud-based infrastructures in a dynamic international environment. You’ll ensure the availability, performance, and security of mission-critical systems while collaborating with global teams. The role follows the USA calendar and Mountain Time (MT), offering an exciting cross-time zone working experience. Accountabilities:

  • Configure and manage Linux virtual servers and related technologies, with occasional Windows involvement.
  • Perform application upgrades, patch installations, and troubleshooting for IFS and other systems.
  • Automate operational tasks to optimize performance and streamline workflows.
  • Provide Level 2–3 technical support to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and resolve performance, availability, or security incidents.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration and/or development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong command of Linux system best practices and advanced Bash scripting skills.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Experience with Citrix Application configuration and administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting capabilities and a drive to identify root causes of issues.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Desirable: RHCSA or MCSA certification, experience with UniData administration, and previous development background.
