Intercontinental Engineering – Manufacturing Corporation is a heavy machinery manufacturer looking for a Logistics-Blast Operator interested in working with assemblies for machined parts (40,000 lbs. +). Intercon fabricates, machines, paints, and assembles products for the commercial marine, defense, and mining industries.
Requirements
This position will be responsible for processing several different sized steel parts with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. They will assist with loading and unloading items for blasting and help with other shop duties as assigned. Overtime will be available.
Duties include but are not limited to
· Shot blast
· Oxide blast
· Assist with grounds maintenance
· Assist in Paint Shop
· Maintain equipment
· Assist in prep of parts and equipment leaving the facility
· Inspect completed work to ensure surfaces meet quality and customer specifications
· Clean and organize the blast area before and after each use
· Must maintain all PPE
· Other duties as assigned by Logistics Supervisor or Plant General Manager
Ideal candidates would have the following qualifications:
· Forklift experience
· Self-motivated and positive attitude
· Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English
· Reliable attendance
· Crane Operations experience
Physical Requirements:
PPE is required at all times in the plant, blast house, paint shop and yard

This is a full-time position.
Starting Pay $22 - $28 per hour. Compensation will be based on qualifications.
