.Net Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead with 2 to 6 years of experience in SQL and .Net Core to join our team. The ideal candidate will work from home during day shifts focusing on developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Experience in Finance & Accounting Governance Risk & Compliance or Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This role does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of software applications using SQL and .Net Core to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in coding and software development to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain system performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation for software applications to support future development and maintenance efforts.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights to support decision-making.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations to maintain data security and integrity.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget constraints.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes to enhance productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Possess strong proficiency in SQL and .Net Core with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience in Finance & Accounting Governance Risk & Compliance or Property & Casualty Insurance is advantageous.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of software engineering.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.

Certifications Required

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Certified .Net Developer desirable
