Cognizant is seeking a Network Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Research Triangle Park, NC. This role will work out of the client office in Research Triangle Park, NC. Qualified candidates must have valid US work authorization. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving incidents, analyzing network traffic, and preparing incident reports.
  • Monitoring network performance and service availability to detect issues promptly.
  • Investigating and troubleshooting network incidents to ensure quick resolution.
  • Analyzing network traffic and event flows to identify patterns and potential inefficiencies.
  • Collaborating with IT support teams to maintain network health and performance.
  • Preparing detailed incident reports and communicating findings to stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development of effective incident response procedures.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives for network operations.
  • 24/7 rotational shift, working out of customer office.

Qualifications:

4 plus years of experience as a Network Engineer.

Familiarity with Cisco Infrastructure and Networking products.

Experience working with Cisco ACI, Hyperflex.

Hands on experience with Routing and Switching.

Experience working in a Data Center.
