Network Security Engineer (Remote - India)

In this role, you will play a key part in implementing, configuring, and maintaining secure network infrastructures. You’ll work with advanced technologies to install, troubleshoot, and optimize network devices, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security. Your responsibilities will include managing network protocols, setting up security controls, and monitoring system performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues promptly, while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Accountabilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, and other hardware.
• Implement network topologies including LANs and WANs, ensuring efficient and secure operations.
• Configure protocols like TCP/IP, RIP, OSPF, and EIGRP for optimal network performance.
• Set up and maintain security measures, including firewalls and access control lists (ACLs).
• Monitor network performance using tools such as Cisco CLI and SNMP, proactively identifying potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems, minimizing downtime and ensuring service continuity.

Requirements

• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco CLI and network management tools.
• Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to implement effective solutions quickly.
• Strong communication abilities and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and the capacity to work independently in fast-paced environments.
