Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end functional design and delivery of OpenText Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, ensuring compliance with project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Facilitate client workshops to elicit detailed business requirements, process flows, and functional needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, use cases, and solution designs.
  • Configure and customize OpenText modules (e.g., Content Server, Extended ECM, Documentum) including metadata models, workflows, permissions, and integrations.
  • Design and implement document lifecycle management, access controls, and retention policies in alignment with regulatory and security requirements.
  • Conduct functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and solution validation to ensure system functionality meets business objectives.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance optimization for OpenText solutions, working closely with technical teams on defect resolution and system enhancements.
  • Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and operational guides for business users and administrators.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants, assigning tasks and monitoring progress in functional workstreams.
  • Coordinate with project managers, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and issue resolution.
  • Stay current on OpenText product updates, security compliance requirements, and ECM best practices, advising clients on potential improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in OpenText ECM solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ECM concepts, workflows, metadata management, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with client engagement, requirements gathering, and solution documentation.
  • Ability to work on projects requiring Security Cat 2 clearance in Singapore.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
