Salary:                             £36,000 per annum, plus extensive benefits

Working hours:              40 hours pw, Monday to Friday (3:00 pm-11:00pm)

This busy role is to oversee the warehouse activities, including driving a safety culture and ensuring warehouse activity meets company requirements.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Motivating and encouraging the team to ensure productivity targets and CPO are met
  • Manage team training and development to ensure internal and external accuracy figures are met and maintained
  • Provide cover for manager when required
  • Maintain best operational practices through management of SOP’s
  • Drive and improve multiskilling within the team through staff performance, training, and productivity review
  • Driving continuous improvement and implement new ideas to improve ways of working and eliminate waste
  • Conduct coaching sessions to feedback on issues and area of improvement to raise KPI awareness and drive improvements
  • Conducting 121 and return to work meetings

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven leadership experience, ideally supervising 50+ employees in a pharmacy, healthcare, or operations setting
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and safety standards
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams across multiple shifts or departments
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with workflow optimisation, process improvement, and performance metrics tracking
  • Ability to manage and resolve staffing, scheduling, and operational challenges effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using data and systems to inform decisions (e.g., inventory management, reporting, QA tools)
  • Commitment to patient safety, service quality, and operational efficiency
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing priorities or regulatory needs
