The Head of Product is responsible for leading the architectural product design process across all project parcels—from pre-concept through IFC stage, including site and procurement support. This role ensures the integration and coordination of all product-related disciplines: Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Interior Design, maintaining consistency, quality, and design intent.

The role also leads the development of all launch materials, supports CRM integration, and manages a dedicated internal team to coordinate product development, design reviews, and cross-disciplinary alignment. The Head of Product reports to the Head of Design & Engineering and works closely with the Head of Design Management and Head of Placemaking.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the review and validation of all product-related submissions from Pre-Concept & Concept Design, Schematic Design (SD), Detailed Design (DD), Value Engineering (VE), to Tender & IFC Stages to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout all submissions and across consultants
  • Review product prototypes in context of the approved masterplan, landscape levels, and grading strategy to ensure all building footprints, entries, and interface zones are properly resolved with infrastructure and public realm.
  • Review and interpret the product brief provided by the Development team, analyze the RFP documents prepared by the Design Management team to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Guide the team in reviewing pre-concept and concept design packages received from consultants, with a focus on functional layouts, efficiency, and customer needs to validate all product prototype designs in context with the masterplan, road layout, plot boundaries, and landscape zones.
  • Oversee the preparation of launch materials, including; colored unit plans and masterplans, contract annexes for sales and legal use, and unit mix summaries and area breakdowns, supervise the generation and population of unit inventories in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and consistency with marketing materials.
  • Lead the Design Package Technical Review (Post-Launch) of Schematic Design (SD), Detailed Design (DD), Value Engineering (VE), Tender, and Issued for Construction (IFC) packages ensuring that the product design intent is preserved and translated accurately into working drawings.
  • Flag and resolve any conflicts between architectural packages and infrastructure or landscape grading/levels.
  • Coordinate closely with architecture, structure, MEP, landscape, and infrastructure teams to ensure full product integration.
  • Review consultants' design outputs and provide feedback to maintain design intent, functionality, and constructability.
  • Respond to queries during the procurement stage, providing technical clarifications and product-related input.
  • Oversee and coordinate RFI responses during the construction stage, ensuring timely and accurate information is shared with site teams.
  • Lead a team of product architects and technical coordinators responsible for reviewing and tracking product progress, ensuring all reviews are documented and communicated clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish internal checklists and review protocols to ensure compliance with quality standards and timelines.

Requirements

Qualifications: (Education and qualifications needed to do the job)

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering

Work Experience: (The minimum years of total work experience and other relevant work experience required to do the job.)

Essential: 18- 20+ years of experience in Product Development (Built form).
