In this role, you’ll be a key player in shaping go-to-market strategies for innovative energy solutions. You’ll craft compelling narratives that resonate with utility partners and highlight the value of distributed energy resources. Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, you’ll lead product messaging, competitive insights, and cross-functional alignment to drive revenue growth. Accountabilities:
- Serve as the voice of the customer by deeply understanding their challenges with distributed energy resources and translating those into actionable insights.
- Develop clear and compelling messaging for utilities, supporting Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams.
- Create persuasive marketing collateral including sales materials, fact sheets, presentations, web content, and case studies.
- Lead go-to-market initiatives for product launches and feature updates, aligning stakeholders and driving execution.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform positioning and differentiation strategies.
- Partner with Brand Marketing on content planning and messaging consistency across channels and campaigns.
- Collaborate across teams — Product, Sales, Client Success, Market Development — to inform strategy and ensure audience-centric solutions.
- Track the performance of marketing initiatives, drawing insights from KPIs to optimize efforts.
- Contribute to strategic marketing planning and take ownership of special projects as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the tech, energy, or utilities sector.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with solid grounding in marketing strategy and execution.
- Proven ability to simplify complex technical ideas into clear, engaging messages.
- Strong writing and communication skills; experienced in developing impactful sales and marketing assets.
- Effective collaborator with experience working across product, sales, and technical teams.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines independently.
- Analytical and curious mindset; able to balance data-driven decisions with creativity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passion for clean energy and sustainability is a strong plus.
