As a Quality Analyst II, you’ll help ensure the reliability of a new suite of web-based Interim Assessment tools, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and content teams. This is a manual testing role where your attention to detail and process improvement mindset will directly influence learning outcomes for students. You’ll play a key part in testing both core features and emerging AI functionalities in a collaborative, fully remote environment. This is an 18-month, full-time fellowship with full benefits and exceptional growth opportunities.
Accountabilities:
- Design and execute structured manual test plans based on user stories and technical requirements, covering both typical and edge-case scenarios.
- Perform regression testing and release validation to ensure consistent quality across key workflows.
- Track and manage test cases, execution status, and results using tools like Xray and Jira.
- Document and communicate bugs with clear severity levels and reproduction steps; partner with engineers and PMs to triage and resolve issues.
- Maintain QA documentation in Confluence and contribute to cross-functional visibility.
- Collaborate in sprint ceremonies and help evolve QA practices within the team.
- Support the validation of AI-enhanced and accessibility features as part of a fast-paced product development cycle.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or similar role, specifically with web-based products.
- Strong ability to develop, manage, and execute manual test plans aligned with product and user needs.
- Detail-oriented with a curiosity-driven mindset and eagerness to identify edge cases early.
- Proficiency with tools such as Xray, Jira, and Confluence; comfortable working within agile teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across remote and diverse teams.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and a commitment to fostering inclusion and belonging.
